Stronghold 3 Review And CONTENT For THIS GAME

Stronghold 3

Stronghold 3: Gold is the long-awaited third installment in the award winning castle-building series. Set 10 years after the original, the Wolf it seems, has cheated death and during his painful recovery he’s become even more bitter and twisted.

About The Game

Now he seeks revenge. Raiding villages and towns during the dead of night, the Wolf has created a tide of panic and you and your allies are the only force that stand against him. In this stunning new update to the world’s favorite Castle Sim – will you triumph by day or die by night?

Overall, the game is enjoyable enough to warrant buying it when it is on sale. As many people have said, there are bugs in this game. I have not come across any game breaking bugs, but just the more annoying ones.

The most typical one is that some of your troops will get randomly suck in an open field, near a wall, on a tower, etc. and become unable to move. For me, it has only happened to a couple of archers at a time so I was still able to move on and win the mission.

The other bugs I have come across is with the walls. When building, they sometimes do not want to snap to the edge of a mountain and will instead scale them. This will leave a small gap where enemies can get through. I get around this by either trying over and over again or by building, destroying, and trying again. Another bug is that sometimes my archers will not walk up the steps to get on a wall.

They will instead walk through the steps and hang out inside the wall. Again, annoying, but not game breaking. If you can tolerate a bug here or there, the game can still be fun. If not, hope FireFly does a better job on Stronghold: Warlords.
