Sonic the Hedgehog 2 Star Ben Schwartz Already Read the Script

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 star Ben Schwartz has read the script and says filming will start soon. The actor sat down with to talk about the upcoming sequel. Lots of fans focused on the ads surrounding Sonic 2, specifically Knuckles the Echidna on its first appearance. However, it seems clear that director Jeff Fowler has more surprises planned.

It cannot be overestimated how enthusiastic Sonic is at the kind of box office success it enjoyed last year. It was the first movie in theaters for about a month. After that, the movie became symbolic as the last blockbuster release before the coronavirus pandemic took hold. And now, as my calendar year has passed, it’s time to work on Part Two and Schwartz is ready.

“I think Sonic will start filming in the next few months, I’m not quite sure when it will be, but I know it will come, and I was able to read a script and it will be awesome!” Sonic the Hedgehog 2, The director has already talked to this year about the possibility of other Sonic characters appearing in the sequel. He explained that creating this world in the first movie meant shrinking things mostly to the protagonist and Dr. Robotnik.

“For this first movie, we were just looking at the 1991 game and just seeing where it all started and keeping it simple,” Fowler explained when asked about Tails and the rest of Sonic’s friends. And just set up their rivalry because you don’t … I mean, I love … there are a lot of great characters in the world of Sonic, but the most important thing is to just set up Sonic and tell a little part of the original story with him, and do it in a way that makes everyone fall in love with him as the character And they are looking for more.

And then if all goes well, we can kind of unlock it and bring up some of these other characters that our fans know and love. And yes, I mean, no one is more excited about me getting this opportunity.
