About The Game
The definitive version of the cult classic shooter fps, Shadow Warrior Classic Redux features remastered visuals and two massive expansion packs. Corporations rule every facet of life in a near-future Japan and employ Shadow Warriors,
one-man armies of unparalleled skill, to protect their power and forcefully remove all opposition. The Zilla Corporation is the most powerful of these conglomerates and will stop at nothing to achieve domination unseen by any other corporation in the world. discovers this corruption and the dark powers being summoned to aid his employers in this quest for absolute power. As a man of honor, Lo Wang vows to battle these demonic forces with an arsenal of explosive weapons, his silent blade, and a razor sharp wit.
I write this having just acquired all 20 achievements. I played the main game and both expansions on Who Wants Wang (hard mode). First of all, this game is really hard. How hard? Only 7.5% of players have the achievement for beating the main game, and about 50% have the one for killing 50 enemies, which you can do by the 2nd or 3rd level on the easiest skill.
But once you’re accustom to all of it, you’ll find one damn fine FPS. Shadow Warrior doesn’t hold you hand. There are no tutorials, no safe learning period. It drops you in and throws enemies at you almost immediately. When I first played the freeware DOS version on normal, I died about 10 times on level 1. Now, 14 hours later, I’ve beaten the entire game and both expansions on Hard.
