Shadow Warrior 3 announced for 2021 release

Devolver Digital has announced Shadow Warrior 3

a sixth game in the long-running ninja shooter series. This is the third entry developed by the Polish studio Flying Wild Hog, which restarted the franchise after three previous entries from 3D Realms.

Eurogamer considered the game reboot “a nostalgic journey smarter than it sounds” in 2014, and its 2016 sequel “a rampant explosion, although it may not measure up to its predecessor.” Four years later, here we are, although you will have to wait until 2021 for the launch of the game.

Expect to see the Shadow Warrior 3 game during the Devolver Direct event this Saturday, which is absolutely not inspired by anything to do with Nintendo.
