Bravely Default II, Square Enix and Nintendo announced the release and launch of the final JRPG Bravely Default II beta. The game had a demo earlier this year, which resulted in the developer receiving feedback and making changes to improve the game. While providing an overview, the game page on the Nintendo website reveals that some jobs have new skills. For example, Thief Brave no longer has a Robber as he did in the previous demo, and it appears that Steal Weapon has been changed to Steal Courage.
The new demo will take place during the first main chapter of the game, although “the main four characters are already on their journey – and jobs and abilities are at their disposal!” Due to this, it seems unlikely that the saved data will be transferred to the main game.
While there may be no in-game rewards, those who launch the demo before the game launch will earn 100 platinum coins for their My Nintendo account. Platinum coins can usually be exchanged for physical items like stickers and stationery, but also themes for Nintendo 3DS, and a discount on some 3DS and Wii U games.
